And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Those are the gifts that you give to friends who have trouble at work. We had a "crying towel" that was handed around. The next guy to whine about this or that got the crying towel. It was actually one of those golf towels with the metal piece on it for hanging. It hung in the office of the whiner. We also had a "rat award" for people who ratted off their co-workers for whatever reason. It was one of those rat chew toys that you can buy in a pet store. I don't know if you can still do that today - likely it would be racist or something. We also used to "nig" credentials if somebody left theirs in a coat pocket, hanging on a hanger, etc. You'd end up presenting them and the picture on the credential would not be "you".
