That one .30 mg in the nose isn't much help against a head-on attack. The magazines for those weapons were quite small. They didn't have the advantage of a long belt feed... Cool airplane but I wouldn't want to go into war in one...against P-47's and P-50's

ReplyDeleteThey call it a greenhouse for a reason. I'm sure that the cockpit was very warm in summer despite the temp at altitude.
