And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Weirdness
For unknown reasons, Blogspot isn't letting me load images to posts this morning. Text only. The Friday Open Road will be up as soon as that problem can be fixed.
Tried restarting the computer - no luck. Tried logging out of Blogspot and logging in again - no luck. Tried another browser - no luck. I suspect it's Blogspot, but we'll see.
It might be a memory cache problem requiring a 'restart'?

Deletemy malware blocked some things recently when I went on this blog
