  1. And who goes boating in a suit and tie?

Adults, apparently; what a great example to set for his son and all the rest of us. All that '60s casual has led inevitably to anybody under the age of 40 wearing pajamas in public, and 13-year-old girls dressing like streetwalkers. Ugh.

  2. Gentlemen in the good old days and he should also be wearing a hat. Rob de Witt is correct. Dress codes are nonexistent and slovenly.

  3. It's proper boating costume. The English have a different suit for everything.
