And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I don't remember seeing trim like that on a Jeep pickup before. Perhaps it's an aftermarket thingy. I don't think it ads much to that classic pickup, but then it's not mine. More power to the man that owns it. He did it his way and it looks great.
I just never understood why they chopped the running boards like that. Too short to use to climb in and out. Only partially there for getting under the hood. Should have just taken them back to the rear fenders.

Other pictures of restored 1960 Willys pickups show the same trim, maybe it was a luxury model option.
