As Tree Mike said, camera lens can do strange things to in image - all in the camera, no Photoshop required. Wide angle lens make thing look larger than they really are. Telephotos flatten (remove separation between objects in the foreground and background). Because of the focal length with telephoto, the plane could be hundreds of yards beyond the helo.

ReplyDeleteWhere I come from Scoopers (CL-215s and CL-415s) are considered 'Initial Attack' and don't require a lead plane. YMMV where you're at.
