And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Sure are handy bit of kit, recently got a pair of 1/4 ton chain come a longs, little babies, aluminum, about half size of a bear can where the gearbox/clutch is, those are super handy because the chain can wrap around things.
Good tool, bad cover. That plastic reel cover will not keep its shape when the come a long is put against something while pulling. I got tired of the plastic crap and made replacements from 14 gauge sheet that retain their shape when abused. The old come a longs had steel covers but I guess plastic is cheaper.
Have a similar looking chinesium version. Edges are very sharp, and the frame deformed under load.
