And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
At my grandfather's camp we have a Frigidaire that was made in 1949, damn thing still runs, only gets seasonal use. We packed it full of beer for it's 50th birthday. I put a new power cord on it a few years ago, that's about it.

ReplyDeleteNeighbor has a Kelvinator with a belt drive compressor. The beer is still cold and there's always ice for drinks.
