    4. No one conquered Scotland. Septimius Severus came close, being acknowledged by all the tribes at the time. He then returned to his HQ in York and did the decent thing, he died. Scotland was bought by bribery and corruption in 1707 but remains undefeated.

    2. The Fascist salute came to Hitler via Mussolini. He introduced it in an effort to make his rule appear as the new Rome. Hitler was in a way influenced by Rome.

    Its a splendid salute, that only Roman soldiers could give, considered the highest honor, lot like a mustang in US Army say, given a couple ranks jump during combat, for leadership and courage, an unconditional recognition.
