And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Oh dear, jetboil, where to begin. Plastic handles will burn-melt. The pan is infant size. And at $400 it is priced so NO ONE ever buys it except complete idiots. I mean really, WTF???
I mean, it's not something you can put in a pack, and that carrier doesn't include the fuel container, so it's so big it is strictly a "carry it in truck" thing. Once you've got the truck to carry your stuff, what's the advantage to this? Some student got a good grade on his design assignment, but the professor has never actually gone camping.
About 15 years ago I bought an original Jet Boil setup, not nearly as extensive as this thing. I've taken it on a few long back packing trips and no serious complaints. I mainly boil water to reconstitute dehydrated trail food. Works fine for that.
Never been a fan of systems where the base of the burner, which sat in dirt and/or mud, is placed *inside* the pot. One more cleaning task before use.
