And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Yeah, that would be the typical thought, as I too would have figured the same... Until I discovered a product called, "Fabulon Sun Bounce" It's an extreme marine quality exterior clear... and it works... as I used it on a project in a similar situation as this photo... and it lasted several years, before needing a freshen up coat...
Read the warranty on doors most don't cover doors if they are painted a dark color especially ones that face west. Also have to paint all 6 sides to avoid moisture damage
Hopefully its on the off weather side. Lived in a 1687 coach road in, not as fancy as above, but that house never had a porch and it lasted till it burned down in 74. Thats up in NH too.
