  1. I went to the first Star War film in November of 1977. If I'da know how Mark was gonna turn out 48 years later I might have skipped it.

    1. Yes, there’s a lot of bat sheet crazy in this pic…

    2. I watched it 20 odd years later, and couldn't figure how I sort of identified with the characters originally. Second time around, I really wanted to punch Skywalker in the mouth. Every time he opened it.

    2. Hamill was in a car accident at the beginning of filming Star Wars. His nose and jaw line were changed because of this. This is a picture of them all as they did prep and familiarity of each other prior to filming. Hamill is a socialist and not a good guy (though he does donate/volunteer for the socialist cause: hahahaha).

  5. Life was better when the lunchrooms had ashtrays. Now there's no ashtrays but lots of 300lb people.

    1. Gonna disagree cause even though society at large needs a good appetite suppressant these days, the stench of stale cigarette smoke is something we can do without. Of course we're slowly moving to places starting to stink of weed instead... Now automats! we need to more of those again!

    2. I recently read that over 70% of American are overweight and 40% are obese. Maybe we need a Gaza starvation situation here for a few years.

To get a "Gaza situation" let's first import Hamas and have them attack, gang rape, slice people up alive after raping them, tie families together and set them on fire, and toss a baby into the family kitchen oven and turn it on high. Then, take living and dead hostages to their hideouts and starve them. Then, have ordinary Gazans attack and carry off more hostages as slaves. Then, when they weep and moan that the responding forces are being bad and need to send food, we'll have Hamas steal the food and let the people starve. And get the western media to befoul everything with lying reportage. And obesity might go down.

  7. 1977... I left the light house in WA state (Light Sta Point Robinson) to go to "A" school in Elizabeth City, NC. In 1978 in finished AD school was stationed at CGAS San Francisco, it was then were I went and waited in a long line to see Star Wars.
I miss the days when I movie ran in theaters for a year.
