And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Dangling limbs over the edge of surf boards give an underside profile similar to seals, which may be the reason some sharks have been known to go for surfers. Lighting conditions of dawn or twilight don't help either. I've swam with whale sharks, creatures the size of a bus, and had no fear of being eaten by them unless I was stupid enough to stay in front of the mouth as they passed. Swam with other types of sharks, nurses, reefs, bulls, and no issues, though I don't try and go pet them.
