The customer was a bear who decided to break into the shop at Camp Richardson and peruse its offerings, KATV reported Wednesday.
“With some encouragement, the bear ultimately left, but only after showing interest in the strawberry ice cream.

I've got some bear stories from South Lake Tahoe. In spite of the near urban environment, those bears are out there, more of them that you think.
The bears in Tahoe are quite unafraid of humans. And have no qualms about entering or breaking into places...even inhabited places. A few years ago one strolled through the automatic front door of the local hospital and checked out the lobby for a while...
ReplyDeleteI sure hope Fuzzy didn't touch that speaker!
ReplyDeleteI would much rather have Fozzie the Bear show up at my place. He told Dad jokes 40 years before we herd the term.

DeleteThere are bear a lot places people don't know about. I took my Blue Heeler into the Wayne National Forest when I lived in SE Ohio, and, supposedly, there were no bear in the area. However, about a half mile later on the trail there were fresh bear tracks - less than 2 hours old. I called the dog to me and left the area quickly as my dog would have tried to attack the bear.
ReplyDeleteU now what Yogi would say right?
ReplyDeleteSmarter than the average bear, Boo Boo!
