And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I am not completely sure, but I believe that I never have commented on the way young ladies wear their hats... but that All American pretty young lady in the second image does in fact have her hat on backwards. And an aside, whenever I see (mostly) young folks wearing baseball caps the wrong way, I figure that they are directionless (aka clueless).
Last pic. I'm not a fan of hardtail frames, never have been. Don't really think they enhance the bike's look at all. Obviously, a matter of taste. But ride one from say Kentucky to Yellowstone National Park. Tell me how the ol' hiney is feelin' when you arrive. I did that ride btw on a four-cylinder Suzuki 550. Yeah, my butt hurt big time.
Biker #1 reminded me of a guy I would see on the way to work forty some years ago. I'd pass him most mornings in the winter, he'd be riding a Harley with a chain on the rear tire and wearing three or four coats.
Love that Hornet tunnel!
ReplyDeleteThe burnt and red mustang's from "Cherry 2000" when Melanie Griffith was still hot.
