And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Reminds me somewhat of the Bennigan's Ultimate Nachos. Now, if you then followed this with their Monte Cristo sandwich and finished with Death by Chocolate, you'd best have a charged phone as you will be occupied afterwards for quite awhile!
Campfire Cooking 101 ================== 1. In a 12" cast iron skillet arrange a layer of nacho chips. 2. Sprinkle drained pinto and red beans, salsa and sliced black olives over the chips. 3. Put a dense layer of shredded cheddar cheese and cilantro over the whole mess. 4. Lid the skillet and sit it on the coals for 3-5 minutes. 5. Unlid and skarf!
Looks great but I hope the can is nearby…

DeleteDitch the hot peppers and I will indulge.
ReplyDeleteThe Cilantro is what destroyed the picture for me.
ReplyDeleteWhen a recipe calls for cilantro, I leave it out... or substitute parsley.
