And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Nice plural possessive apostrophe at the end. Rarely se that much anymore. I am a old carpenter from the south that didn't finish high-school but I also wasn't a DA that didn't put any effort into learning what I was told
I swam out to the edge of a reef in Vanuatu some years back and peeked over the edge. It was a cliff going down thousands of feet into darkness and only a hundred yards from the shore. It was quite sobering at the time.
