  1. That hose will cause you more disappointment than you can imagine. To do it right you need at least 100 feet of 3/4" hose and a $300 reel. Ask me how I know. Cry once. (I have 2 and they each hold 150 feet of 3/4", one at each end of the house. We have a big yard.)

  2. You said it! Not only is it too short, but the diameter won't deliver any kind of flow. AND, just to put a cherry on it, everything inside is made of cheap plastic and aluminum and will rot out and leak in the second season. Ask me how I know.... there are several brands of these, all from the same Chinee factory, and they are ALL crap. Do not buy.

  3. I have an idea. Let's take something really basic, overcomplicate it, give it multiple failure points, and charge several times the basic product.

  4. I bought a hand cranked hose reel in a box for out front, I paid extra for kind that automatically lays the hose down in even layers as you crank.
    Every time I use it I remind myself that spending the extra money was worth it!
