  1. I did not see it at first, but there is actually a little kid going down, right at the moment when the picture was taken (center of the slide).

  2. Metal slides, hot days maybe not wearing shorts or a dress, the good old days were children learned survival skills on the playground. Today not so much.

  3. The merry go round is how we learned physics. Also doubled as a materials lab. Did you know that a leather belt attached to the center post at one end, a single belt loop of a boy weighing ~30kg at the other end is good for 2.4 rotations, on mean average?

  5. Then there was the challenge of climbing to the top of the slide, starting from the bottom. I think it was a boy thing, as just about every boy had do to do it.
