Yes very handy, got a few different types, varying accuracy down to seconds in one, have to so you can check the other or to keep two angles in one plane, like straightening a car chassis.Used them for chopping off the rusted out back pick up bed frame and welding on a junk yard replacement. Almost no other way except using plumb bob and plumb lines, with bubble levels.
I use one to align my harley axles and motor mounts, and to level my trailer. Handy little thing.
