And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Buddy had parents' Impala station wagon. We used to go out after SoCal's infrequent but torrential rainstorms hunting kids on the sidewalk with nowhere to flee (think long brick wall), and a full gutter of rainwater for the Detroit tsunami that resulted. Got the idea from riding city busses that did the same thing to randoms times without counting.
They're probably still in therapy for the PTSD, but they learned that life isn't fair.
