    1. Your comment intrigued me. It looks like there are 24 suicides per year. 80% of the jumpers were know to be mentally ill. I found only two couples who jumped together. Nothing said their decision was because they weren't 'permitted to marry'.

      Certainly that could be due to efforts to sanitize the internet, or not to encourage other forlorn lovers. So was the noteriety because it was unusual?

      Sitting there with a good bottle of wine and an avocado toast sounds like a great plan to me!
