  1. Still got mine from 1995. Rain always gets in the ash receptive.

    1. The rain cover is worthless, attaching as it does with only one velcro fastener. But I love the grill.

  2. One of the best charcoal backyard grills ever made. Put a little bowl of water in the center and never get a flare up. Trick I learned years ago before I went pellet.

  3. They are a little short legged, you can get Weber arm burns if you ain't careful. I got the Performer to prevent that. Dang they are getting expensive.

  4. Who's got the time to waste waiting for that thing to do it's job?

My 5 burner propane only cost a couple dollars more and will cook a whole rack of burgers in 10 mins of preheat and 10 minutes cook time.

  5. For over 10 years, I grilled on a Weber charcoal grill. It was a real experience and I did not mind dealing with charcoal. I am 40 years older and prefer a Weber propane grill.

    1. I know, right? Some shitshop in india stamping them out of recycled shipping containers for 12-cents each, 50-cents worth of paint applied (poor hindi bastard breathing in all the fumes), and $2.50 for the box, shipped at 3-dollars each across the world in 6 weeks... Lowe's sells it to you for a couple Benjamins. Seems fair to me!
