  3. My stepfather had that exact car when he married my mom. A 1968 sedan de ville. He traded it for a newer coupe de ville (dark blue) in 1970. Cost for the loaded out caddy was $7,000 out the door. Sold it 7 years later for $700. It was a rust bucket by then.
    We also got a new Plymouth Gold Duster same year for $2400. Sold that also 7 years later for $700. Gas prices that year were high and a car with high MPG was more in demand.
