And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

I just finished a book about the "Indian Wars" in the US in the 1870 - 1890's. One thing that the victorious Native American warriors did with great consistency. When they rode through the bodies of their dead enemies, they shot lots of arrows into the bodies. There were frequently 30 - 50 arrows sticking out of each of the dead.
Best Movie Eva. Seen it first time when I was like 17, think it had the most effect on me of any movie since. Just one of those flicks, though the first Matrix movie comes close.
