  6. Imagine the flight engineer on a 747 on the way to Hawaii. Cap I'm going out and take a look at number one, fuel burn is exceptionally high. Just routine, don't be concerned.

  7. It is forgotten that those engines did not have any muffler systems on them, . . . so also it was super loud.

  8. I’d rather confront a bank robber with a shotgun than go out there. If I remember correctly, those ships had a tendency to burn up.

  9. Yes, they did. Hydrogen, being highly inflammable. Interesting but once heavier-than-air craft became available and more capable, they were a complete dead end in the roles they were used for.
