And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I’ve seen this phenomenon several times from plane windows. Generally, it’s a halo effect. Of course, the Germans have a complicated word for it: Heiligenschein. Although it’s usually at the anti solar point, on one occasion, I saw it at the anti lunar point during a particularly bright full moon.
Here in WV, up in the ridges above 300ft, summer showers with the sun out same times, lot of rainbows, if you are in the right place and be patient, we see circular rainbows up in the clouds, very beautiful, don't last for long, if you have one sometimes you will see a few.
