And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Octopus don't die easily for sure. Nothing like trying to pick up an octopus leg still squirming with chop sticks lol. Saki and Tako "octopus" are a favorite in many bars.
Dotonbori is worth a visit if you're ever in Osaka. The best places to eat are the ones with the lines outside, like the takoyaki (octopus fried in dough balls) near Namba station, or a few ramen shops with lines. At night the neon signage is spectacular.
In my wanderings in the Orient I've seen live baby octopus served up and fighting back knowing it was about to be eaten.
