And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
While growing up in the 50's and 60's my parents always had a station wagon as the family car. It was normally Chevy's but once in a while an Olds. We never had a Pontiac.
Yeah, my Dad was in the Navy and we were stationed in Japan in the mid 60s. We did have a 1956 Pontiac station wagon. Big ol' thing. :) Wasn't as beautiful as this car here, though.
