And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? In 1960 , my grandfather bought a new GMC pick up, no radio ,cigar lighter or heater. First trip to Idaho elk hunting ,truck had a heater and cigar lighter.
I can speak form experience. No, the heater in one of those was crude at best. thought about putting a wood burning stove in one of mine but that was nixed as it could move around with the truck in motion. the heater was a little box that sat on the right hand floor well and hand a vent coming out the top with a turn fan speed control on the front of it. It just kind of blew heat out once the truck got warm enough.

ReplyDeleteYeah, the heater only worked when it was hot outside the truck. Many miles driven and some of them, my feet froze to the floor mats.
