And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Absurdly overpriced. Find a set of used Stanley or Craftsman chisels on e-bay and resharpen. You'll get a half dozen for half the price here, equally good steel, and learn how to maintain them yourself to boot.
Interesting timing. Yesterday I gave away my Dad's woodworking chest; top lid and four drawers of awls, chisels and turning pieces. With various stones and files. He's been gone for a long time and I'm going onto my second knee replacement. The young feller I gave it to is a friend and also the guy I call for any projects on the house. The drawer with the Swedish Steel wood chisels is one I used to open from time to time, pick them up and turn them in the light. Gleamed like jewels. He'll put them to good use. "Swedish Death Cleaning", it's a thing.
That's a fair price for quality chisels. My other Japanese chisels are well balanced and keep a sharp edge, they're a pleasure to use. Strop your edges when working to keep em sharp.
