    1. I remember Ford-Philco. There was a Sylvania TV plant near me when I was growing up, but they moved out in the seventies.

  3. We had one for years in the late 60s/early 70s. Dad had a TV / appliance store and someone traded it in on a color set. A couple of tubes and it went into a living room corner - worked fine with a little vertical hold fiddling occasionally.

    unlike this nonadlustable flatscreen p.o.s. we are using ....
