And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I understand both sides of the restoration argument. But I'm not driving an antiquated steering, braking, suspension down the road. Drove them years ago, they were crappy then, they're still crappy. True restorations are garage queens.
Okay - restomod it with an LS-1 and a modern 4WD system, add AC and some nice bucket seats, and I'll daily drive it all winter.

ReplyDeleteCrappy is relative. They are fine unless you're power drifting them through corners and doing things they were never designed to do.
