And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Last year, Stihl was offering a package deal with a $200 battery basically thrown in for free. The local Ace HW is our Stihl dealer and I worked with the guy who runs the saw shop and ordered one. I have a 10 year old gas saw that runs fine and that I use for big jobs, but the electric saw is just more handy for quick jobs around the ranch. I’ll see how it holds up, but so far it’s been awesome and what I expect from a Stihl.
the only reason I'd think of buying an battery powered chain saw is that ethanol gasoline destroyed my last two gas chain saws.
