And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Yeah, Spain has some ships that are similar to our amphibious assault ships - they can carry and launch Harriers & rotary wing (helos). Issue with Harriers is they certainly can take off in the vertical but it GULPS fuel. The Brits had a way to give them a bit of help with a "ramp" at the end of the launch path on their carriers. They still had the thrust vectoring at about 45 degrees (a guess) but not 90 degrees which is a fuel gulp.
