  1. Electronic overdrive? I think it says overdrive on that switch plate.

    1. Electrically controlled but hydraulically actuated. Search for "Laycock de Normanville", Hagerty had a good article a couple summers ago. My buddy had a rubber bumper MGB with the overdrive switch right in the shift knob.

  2. That's an Austin Healey Speedo. The red line is painted on, the switch is electric overdrive. The vehicle isn't running.

  3. my '69 mgbgt had the o.d. switch in the column lever w/ the horn. kinda like hi-lo beam on today's vehicles.
