And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

That's Hastings Street Vancouver B.C. ( you can tell because it's raining ). Back in the day Vancouver had a lot of neon signage - almost all gone today. If you walked down that street now you'd have a hard time avoiding the homeless and junkies that infest the area. Sad. The restaurant with the neon coffee cup and the people with food trays rotated. Very cool sign. I believe someone rescued it and several others from being crushed years ago. Not sure where they are now......
