And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It's just a matter of practice. Having driven a semi....worth close to a million bucks...in downtown LA, you would be amazed at what you can do with a big rig.
Ex BIL retired early and wanted to drive. Got sent to NYC on one of his 1st runs. Hit so many cars in downtown Manhattan, he climbed out of the cab, called his wife, said come get me.
Mad skilz. I'm still sometimes correcting once or twice with my 5th wheel...I used to be really good when I drove professionally some 30 years ago, but falling out of practice has consequences.
Damn Straight! (Pun intended)

DeleteI've wanted to do that many times there.
DeleteGirl's got skills!!
ReplyDeleteGot skills, Knows what the trailer will do, has a eye on tires not the metal.
ReplyDeleteThat's it. If there are lines keep the wheels next to them and don't pay attention to the door.
Deletethe longer the trailer, the easier it is to back.
ReplyDeleteCorrect.

ReplyDeleteI learned to drive in a IH 9670 Cabover with no power steering, with armstrong steering, you quickly get good at backing up properly the first time.
