And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Prague. One of the pinnacles of Western Civilization. And a high civilization it is, based on this view.
Some seriously deranged people are trying to destroy it all. Really makes you wonder about that evil, where it comes from, to want to wreck such beauty and civilization.

Charles Castle or Pražský hrad. A must visit if you go to Prague, cross the medieval Charles Bridge across the Vltava and climb the (very steep) hill.
ReplyDeletePrague is a wonderful place to visit. The capital of Europe. Been, been, and going again. it is indeed one of the pinnacles.
