Might still start

  1. Looks like a 1940 pickup grill. Or 46-48 after war start up production.

    1. Mid-1947 was the first year of the Advance Design, and this type grill was pretty much the same through 1953.

  2. I learned to drive in '51 B3100 five window. It's only fun on billiard table smooth roads at 50mph or less on a sunny day. Solid front axle, drum brakes, a three-on-the-tree shifter that jams if you try to shift fast, vacuum operated wipers, armstrong steering and a heavy clutch pedal, weak 6volt headlights....
There's a reason that so many people bolt the bodywork to an S10 chassis and drivetrain.
It's a '48 or later, '47 and earlier had vertical grille elements in the center above horizontal elements.

    1. Early '47 had the old body design and vertical grill, but the Advance Design was introduced in June '47.
