And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I did 21 years Combat Comm and JCSE. Only once in 21 years did I deploy where I got to stay in a hotel and I was Air Force. I will not ever sleep in a tent again or on the ground under my SatComm van. I will do a camper but it needs to be nice. The woody would be a nice cruising car.
I spent 12 month and 29 days on the back of a US Marine tank in Vietnam. I had all of the "camping" that I ever want to do. No tents. No cots. No outdoor fires. My current idea of "roughing it" is the Holiday Inn.
If nothing else, this traveler has the flag of our nation in the back of his beautiful "woody" station wagon. Make America Great Again!!!
