And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Got my daughter in law one of these and she loves it
We've been married almost 41 years now, and for all but the first couple of those years, our kitchen has had our Kitchenaid mixer. Still runs great, although I've been tempted to open it up and clean and regrease everything.
I bought one of these for Christmas the first year we were married in 1984. Every Christmas after that I would buy one of the accessories. The most used is the shredder/slicer and the meat grinder.
I have one. Twenty years old. Very handy for all sorts of baking tasks.

ReplyDeleteI have my Mother's. My three sisters each bought their own. Plenty of muscle!

DeleteThere's a rebuild kit. You don't need it. The originals had metal gears. Forty years ago, yours was actually built by Hobart, and meant to last.
