And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Gorgeous Brook Trout. Throw it back and let it grow.
Growing up fishing in Utah and Colorado, brookies were generally about 8-10” long and smaller than rainbows in the streams I fished. I would keep any brook trout that was 10” and rainbows about 12”. When I hooked a brown, 16-18” or I released it.

DeleteLooks to be in spawning colours, I doubt it will get much bigger. In S. Oregon that's about as big as they get in the Cascade streams.
