And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Carrie Underwood sings ‘America the Beautiful’ a cappella at Trump inauguration. Somehow this is the first time I've seen/heard this. What a bravura performance! Lump in throat!
The 3 heads behind Carrie were Soro’s type Americans therefore they did not know the words to the beautiful song or care to know the words but they mouthed a little bit and pretended . So glad they are gone .
Her performance gets even better when it was later found out there was a technical problem with the sound…so no accompanying music…she says to the person in charge, “That’s okay, I’ll sing it a cappella.” Amazing.
I watched this live, and my reaction was "this is a true American. Problem? I'll fix it!".
