The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? SSD drives change perceived performance. 4gb of ram is towards the bottom and with that drive you are forced to use the “cloud” services. Might be cheap but there is a reason. 32gb of ram with a 500gb SSD drive would be the minimum I would get today. Fast internet is good as well but outside the box.

What Paul said above. 4GB of RAM is the minimum necessary for the operating system to run. You would be VERY underwhelmed with the performance and can forget about running anything else. Spend a little more and get a unit with an i5 or higher CPU, 16-32GB of RAM, and a 500GB or 1TB SSD. You'll thank you later.
I really like the laptops with the touchscreens. Makes a lot of things so much easier. Not sure if they're available outside of the ENVY line.
ReplyDeleteI just got an Acer Aspire 3 with i5 10core 12G RAM 500G SSD. My 7 year old Dell died. This Acer is fast.

Wonder if you can use Brave or (my 2nd choice) Firefox browser on this? The preloaded Silk browser has poor reviews.
