Great traction on icy sidewalks but they would absolutely fuck up any floors they would walk on . The Yack Tracks are removable might be a better idea , or just get a good pair of real boots .
I have multiple pairs of icebugs. Great shoes, even the ones without spikes. Some use boa fasteners which are awesome.
