Apparently the French have submarines. Or would that be "Sous-Mare?"

  3. That boat is now on land and is completely open as a museum (or was) in Cherbourg. Pretty cool if you get a chance while kicking around Normnndy.

  8. France has generally had good quality military equipment historically and the French soldier has been brave and willing. Where France has historically failed militarily has been in their overall strategy and the fickle nature of French politicians.
