A good heat sink, but certainly so heavy it would be hard to move

  1. Looks like a patio with forklift access. Otherwise this would be a real challenge to put in place.

  2. Gonna take a pretty good fire for a pretty long time to get that heated up enough to warm the room. It's a real good heat sink.

  3. And the first time I stump my toe on it out it goes to the scrap pile.

  4. I have a backhoe that could move it simply. 1 pin

  5. Looks nice, is very decorative, but the thickness would make it impractical as a real woodstove.

  6. Gotta disagree a little. I think it would warm up quicker than you think, with the added benefit that it would stay warm and be a good radiant heat source. My only criticism would be the draft control. You really need something that will progressively open the draft as the fire burns down, to better regulate the heat.

Nice boot dryer rack on the front.
