And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

A good heat sink, but certainly so heavy it would be hard to move
Gotta disagree a little. I think it would warm up quicker than you think, with the added benefit that it would stay warm and be a good radiant heat source. My only criticism would be the draft control. You really need something that will progressively open the draft as the fire burns down, to better regulate the heat.
Looks like a patio with forklift access. Otherwise this would be a real challenge to put in place.
