And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Our local A&W provides a free Veterans lunch one each month. I cannot eat that much, so I grab a couple of my grandkids and we split the meal. DaleC in Idaho
We had both an A&W and a Dog 'n' Suds in my hometown as a kid. They were literally two lots apart from each other. I preferred Dog 'n' Suds because of their corn dogs. The A&W managed to stay open at least a decade longer.
We had an Arf N Barf… always preferred A&W drive ins…

Loved their drive thru, couple cheeseburgers, fries, rootbeer float, and a couple gallon jugs to take hime.
ReplyDeleteThey just bulldozed the A&W in my town . It had been closed for years. Have a lot of memories from the 70s!
