And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
We just got a '95 Buick, Roadmaster, cream puff (93,000 mi.). Pretty close to 37 ft. long, I think. One of the last of the great land yachts. They came with a factory LT1, it's surprisingly fast!
Yeah and probably not many of those too. Great chrome features. Almost a separate industrial piece of art in its own right.
ReplyDelete57 or 56?
ReplyDeleteIt's a 58, and it has THREE DUECES!

oh dear....and it's a nomad
ReplyDeletePontiac also built a Nomad clone. I think it even used some of the same trim. I've only seen one and that was years ago.

1958 Buicks had 85 feet of chrome. This car might say "that's cute"

Very first car was a 1959 Buick Station Wagon. The back of the car was a Romper Room.
ReplyDeleteWas a rolling tank, but I loved it.
371 with tri-power
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, chrome won't get you home but it will get you laid. And there is plenty of room in there
ReplyDeleteDon't you wish someone still made these? Install a modern drivetrain and maybe some aluminum in the body it might even be practical.
